On 7th June 2010 iXBRL Adapter for Microsoft Office was officially recognised by the HMRC as a product that could consistently produce iXBRL to the correct standard for UK filing.
This recognition was the culmination of an arduous three month process whereby we were required to take three lengthy case study scenarios provided by the HMRC and use iXBRL Adapter for Microsoft Office to apply iXBRL tags to the content.
As a result iXBRL Adapter for Microsoft Office is one of the first products of its kind to achieve recognition. The HMRC has since listed iXBRL Adapter for Microsoft Office on their website http://www.hmrc.gov.uk/efiling/arkk.htm.
Since then, Arkk have helped other software companies with their iXBRL conversion and we now provide the iXBRL conversion engine for 3 products on the iXBRL Conversion Software Recognised List
