From 1 April 2011, for any accounting period ending after 31 March 2010, UK corporations must file their Company Tax Return (including supporting documentation) online in iXBRL.

When TaxCalc, the UK’s number 1 Taxation software wanted to offer Microsoft Excel iXBRL Accounts conversion to their 30,000 end users, they used Arkk's iXBRL Adapter for MS Office to create several templates for their clients.
