Always bring your game face to work

In the lead up to International Women's Day, we sat down with Rahila Zahin - ARKK's Technical Sales Consultant. We wanted to uncover her experiences, generally working within business, but also being a woman within the tech sector.

Rahila had previously worked client-side but decided to take the plunge and move to a FinTech supplier and hasn't looked back since. We delved into her career history and she spoke about a moment that stood out for her during a seminar, where a female presenter mentioned that you always have to have your 'game face' on at work. What exactly is a 'game face' and is this something that both men and women encounter in the corporate world?

Rahila also explained how she believes big changes can be made by small consistent steps in challenging negative female perceptions or assumptions in the workplace and providing support to other women.
